Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: Med-DevSci Job Summary: DevSci is seeking an individual with expertise in psychology, child and family development or related fields. This is an hourly, full-time position for a person with experience/training in administering child developmental assessments, behavioral coding of dyadic interactions, and project administration on sponsored research projects as well as within DevSci's Neurodevelopmental Core. The ideal candidate for this position will have both (a) experience working with young children administering standardized developmental assessments and parent interviews (e.g., Bayley, NIH Toolbox, Mullen, Preschool Language Scales, Vineland) and (b) experience providing administrative support to a project team. This is an in-person position with potential hybrid flexibility to complete assessments. Experience with behavioral coding and knowledge of child development is also a plus. Attention to detail, flexibility, and excellent communication skills are essential. This position is primarily in-office with some remote work and would require 40 hours per week and may include evening and weekend hours. Work occurs primarily on the Chicago campus with some visits on the Evanston campus. This is an outstanding position for an individual with interest in growing developmental assessment skills within a dynamic research environment. Please note: Flexible working hours, including evening and weekend hours and off-site data collection. Supervisor provides objectives, deadlines and specific instructions only for new, difficult, and/or unusual work. Work is reviewed upon completion and only occasionally to verify technical accuracy and compliance with practice, policy, and procedures.
