Duties and Responsibilities |
The coordinator for English Language Learning Support will focus on developing the College's tutoring and academic coaching activities, with specific emphasis on addressing the needs of English Language Learners. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Help design interventions and support for first and second-year college students with English Language Learning needs.
* Provide introductory-level direct tutoring and academic coaching to students with a focus on English Language Learners in areas that may include arts/humanities, business, math, science, and/or writing (as subject matter expertise allows).
* Research products, services, and current trends in
ELL educational space, and make recommendations to lead Arrupe towards utilizing best practices in English Language Learning.
