In this Part-Time role, you'll ensure that every guest enjoys a rich and engaging experience. This role will prepare our tasting room for daily operations, promote and sell our wine and non-wine products, and act as an informed resource for visitors. This role is responsible for being knowledgeable in winemaking, winegrowing, and wine vintages that will enhance the consumer experience as you describe our wines, winemaking techniques, and winery history. Further responsibilities include assisting with hospitality special events, participating in inventory maintenance, and processing phone and wine shipping orders in compliance with federal and state regulations.You will represent Denner professionally, graciously, and enthusiastically while being able to multi-task with a keen focus on detail.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus tasting room, customer service,retail sales, wine industry, hospitality, team management, public relations, marketing, or teachingand educating others experience.
  • Required to be 21 years of age or older.
  • Required to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Required to engage in frequent walking and standing.
  • Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Lift and move product weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training,meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of thetime, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, ifapplicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable,as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of tasting room, customerservice, retail sales, wine industry, hospitality, team management, public relations, marketing, orteaching and educating others experience.
  • Knowledge of wine and wine production.
  • Knowledge of federal and state legal compliance related to tasting room operations.
