The Quality Certifier will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to the Quality Assurance (QA) programs for Submarine, Deep Submergence, and Surface Ship Systems. This position requires a thorough understanding of all related QA processes and associated documentation. The Quality Certifier will be responsible for enforcing compliance with directives, technical specifications, higher authority documents, and the OII-MSD QA Manuals, as well as local instructions. Familiarity with OII-MSD Technical Work Documentation (TWD) requirements is essential. Candidates must possess strong analytical and management skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and ensure quality standards are met without exception. Occasional travel and overtime may be required. Duties & Responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Graduate of high school, trade or industrial school, or GED equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * B. Sc. In Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering; Experience at Naval and/or Commercial Shipyards with extensive Apprenticeship Program; or extensive military training and experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or ordinance systems and quality assurance/control requirements. SECURITY CLEARANCE: * Must have a Secret Security Clearance issued by the U.S. Department of Defense. CITIZENSHIP: * Must be a U.S. citizen who is not a dual citizen of any other country.
