OVERVIEW

Merrick & Company is looking for an Autodesk Revit Designer I for our Greenwood Village (Denver Metro), CO office. Preference for the Denver location, but remote opportunity may be available for candidates with the right skillset and references.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop Revit models for facilities from terrestrial lidar and/or CAD drawings. Our team primarily focuses on different design disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, etc.), but we have work in all disciplines so the candidate can focus on one or work throughout multiple disciplines.
  • Utilize Merrick Revit templates to create models.
  • This position will work with other disciplines to ensure accuracy of the package, meet schedule, and budget commitments and must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
  • Linking Recap point cloud files into Revit.
  • Link CAD files into Revit.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Zero (0) to four (4) to years of Revit drafting experience is required.
  • Experience developing drawings in Autodesk Revit is required.
  • Experience using Autodesk Recap is a plus but not required
  • Ability to create Revit models of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to comply with client and Merrick's Revit standards. Generate construction documents from Revit Models.
  • Interdisciplinary coordination/clash detection using Revit or Navisworks.
  • Experience translating terrestrial lidar data to discipline specific Revit models is a plus but not required
  • Participate in QA/QC processes.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree in Drafting, Graphic Design preferred, but Technical College Certification or Equivalent Relevant Real World Experience with Revit is acceptable.
  • Experience with survey, GIS, or remotely sensed data
  • Knowledge of AutoDesk Construction Cloud
