Software Engineer Intern - Masters

What You'll Be Doing:

The Test Framework & Infrastructureteam is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to collaborate closely with us on innovating the future of our test framework and infrastructure at SIE. As an intern, you will work with senior engineersto build new tools and enhance the reliability of our test infrastructure. As we expand the team's portfolio to new tools and new project, we are looking for an intern who can innovate, work with the team on reassessing its architecture and build robust systems

Key areas of focus include:




  • Expanding test account management needs to wider SIE engineering teams
  • Prioritizing test automation in production
  • Addressing test flakiness and ensuring reliable test runs



You will have the opportunity to work independently on these tasks with guidance from team members. The project is well-documented, quantified, and has clearly defined success criteria.

What We're Looking For:



  • Projected to graduate by Spring 2026
  • Pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Familiarity with Python or JavaScript
  • A broad understanding of microservice architecture is a plus
  • Self-directed and capable of independent work
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Interest in experimentation and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and analysis, both verbally and in writing


Eligibility:



  • Able to work during one of the following periods: May 19th - August 8th or June 16th - September 5th.
  • Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.
  • Open to students who are U.S. citizens or international students with an F-1 visa.
  • Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.



Our intern positions offer a fixed hourly pay rate. Please note that the pay rate is exclusive to the internship period and may not reflect what pay may look like following the completion of an internship

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$54 $54 USD
