Job Summary



  • Research and evaluate state-of-the-art algorithms for detecting and classifying safe landing zones using computer vision techniques.
  • Design and develop custom models for detecting landing zones in real-time based on drone camera input, considering factors like terrain, obstacles, and environmental conditions.


Essential Job Duties

  • Development of computational models.
  • Implementation of computational models.


Basic Qualifications



  • Master's degree or higher in an engineering field.
  • Expertise in computer vision algorithms and image processing techniques (such as object detection, segmentation, and feature extraction).
  • Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience training models for real-world deployment.

Hiring Range

$83,000 to $108,400 per year

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
