Job Description

The DAS analog/mixed-signal team at the Irvine Design Center is seeking a co-op to help support design engineering with verification/simulation tasks/ and feasibility studies.

Tasks will include:



  • block and chip level simulation and verification
  • circuit analysis, design and optimization
  • perform bench evaluation, process simulation/measurement data and interpret results
  • support test engineering and development


Qualifications:



  • candidate must be currently enrolled in a graduate program studying electrical engineering with focus on analog IC design (RF knowledge is a plus)
  • understanding of fundamental electrical engineering theory, MOS/BJT operation, basic op-amp design
  • applicable coursework includes but not limited to analog IC design and RF IC design
  • Familiarity with circuit simulators such as spectre and hspice
  • familiarity with Verilog-A and Matlab

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
