Overview
RTI's Center for Education Evaluation and Research (CEER), has an immediate opening for a master's-level Education Analyst. Under the direction of project and task directors, this individual will support the design and execution of research and evaluation on elementary, secondary, and postsecondary education. This position will work closely with education research staff at all levels and perform a variety of quantitative research tasks. The core responsibility for the position will be quantitative data analysis using a broad range of analytic methods. The successful candidate will create analysis plans; develop specifications for variables and datasets; create data dictionaries; write and implement statistical programs; provide statistical consultation for project directors, task leads, principal investigators, and other staff; and present findings with the potential to coauthor scientific papers. The position will support multiple research projects, and the successful candidate must be proactive, resourceful, highly organized, and able to work independently and efficiently. We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of, commitment to, and lived experience with equity and social justice. This position can be based in Research Triangle Park, NC or remote from anywhere within the U.S (full-time telecommuter).
