Digital Supply Chain - Sr. Manager, Demand Capabilities at a glance

The Digital Supply Chain - Sr. Manager, Demand Capabilities is responsible the modeling Center of Excellence for demand shipment forecasting. This dynamic role uses Agile framework to deliver value for Kraft Heinz by delivering forecast accuracy improvements, supply chain loss improvement and inventory reductions.
The Digital Supply Chain - Sr. Manager, Demand Capabilities also plays a critical role in driving feedback loop to data science on opportunity areas of the shipment models to raise the modelling floor and ceiling while also understanding results and corrective actions with demand planning.
Focus areas for the role include analyzing modeling results and root cause corrective action, prioritization of modeling solutions, sign off of modeling solutions and model adoption metrics. The Digital Supply Chain - Sr. Manager, Demand Capabilities role works directly with the Demand Planning, Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning Engineers, and Scrum Master to drive delivery from ideation to product release and change management.

What's on the menu? Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the Vision, Roadmap and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)

  • Attend and leads discussion in all Agile ceremonies - daily scrum, retrospective, backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint review.

  • Attend and contributes to the PO Sync to collaborate with other Product Owners and Cross Functional teams.

  • Represents the end users for development team's questions and has deep understanding of the product use cases and business requirements.

  • Drives end user adoption and engagement through communication & small group sessions.

  • Leverages end user feedback on areas of success and opportunity and value proposition for enhancements for backlog prioritization.

  • Formulates bi-weekly priorities and sprint goals for the Team Backlog in Sprint Planning and Refinement.

  • Collaborates with process excellence teams to build business requirements and key design decisions to support the TO-BE process and technical designs.

  • Participates and signs off in feature wireframe and demonstrations to advise if key design decisions are met and approved.

  • Conduct and approve user acceptance testing of new modeling solutions in lower environment prior to production release.

  • Lead change management through supporting development E2E feature training, coordinate feature releases, and conducting end user training & hyper-care.

  • Analyzing modeling results and provide direction to both data science and demand planning on opportunities to improve modeling results and autonomous opportunities.

  • Managing network transitions to inform the model inputs.

  • Participates in quarterly planning events (PI planning) to outline 13-week roadmap with development teams. Leads breakout rooms to conduct quarterly iteration planning and OKR setting.

  • Coach development team to simplify complexed challenges and solutions

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Finance or Economics preferred

  • 5 to 7 years' experience in Supply Chain Management (Operations, Procurement, Logistics + Planning)

  • Demand Planning and/or Statistical Modeling experience preferred.

  • Agile experience or certification preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership and effective communication skills

  • Analytical problem solver with attention to detail

  • Self- motivated owner, exemplifies the KHC values

  • Project management skills

This position is considered a normal office environment (3 days onsite hybrid); offices are open workspaces.
