Summary of Position |
Reporting to and under the direction of the Child Welfare Education Partnership (
CWEP) Curriculum Development Administrator, this position is responsible for the development and support of online and hybrid courses, as well as the resource development that supports excellence in teaching and learning as required by the contract with the New Hampshire Division of Health and Human Services (
NHDHHS). |

| Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience (e.g. instructional technology, online education, adult learning, higher education) which includes at least 3 years of instructional design experience. Working knowledge of instructional design theory and practice, particularly in relation to delivering online/hybrid courses to adult students. Experience developing courses in Moodle and Canvas or other similar learning management systems. Demonstrated ability to work with instructors from a variety of academic disciplines and technological skills.
Ability to master new technologies quickly. Proficiency with multi-media software, interactive video/audio production. Experience with web-conferencing tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams or Zoom), and Microsoft Teams apps. Introductory knowledge of
HTML and web design principles, and
ADA and WCAGs.
Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet strict deadlines. Work as a team with colleagues and stakeholders as well as independently when necessary. Excellent presentation, communications, problem-solving, interpersonal and organization skills. |
Additional Preferred Qualifications |
Master's degree in instructional design or closely related field. Experience teaching/training adult learners. |

Duty/Responsibility |
- Provide high quality instructional design practices in developing or redesigning courses in online/hybrid/face-to-face formats using established course templates instructors.
- Support instructors with diverse educational disciplines from DHHS/DCYF, Instructor Coaches, and the College, as well as from other partner institutions.
- Provide effective support in a variety of formats including in person and at a distance (email, phone, live chat or webinar.).
- Must take into consideration the unique expectations, policies and procedures of DHHS/DCYF, CWEP, and the College.
- Manage course development process for assigned courses meeting tight deadlines.
- Work with instructors and SMEs to meet those deadlines.
- Track the progress of each instructors/course and communicate with the hiring supervisor as needed.

- Perform quality assessment on courses based on end of course evaluations.
- Consult with instructors as needed to identify improvements for their courses including resources, best practices, and delivery techniques with attention to universal design principles.

- Collaborate with colleagues within the CWEP and College's Instructional Design team to research and recommend new tools, methodologies, processes, and resources to support the work of instructors and the college in relation to online/hybrid courses and the learning management system.
- Develop and deliver training for instructors on educational technologies and online pedagogy.
- Topics are offered in in a variety of delivery formats including face-to-face, Zoom, and online.
- Evaluate the training and make recommendations for improvements for future offerings.

- Develop and manage documentation and resources in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, and interactive learning modules.
- Manage and update content shared on websites for both instructors and students.
- Serve on committees and/or task forces as needed.
