As a full-time, non-exempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Specialty Pharmacy Liaison Technician,you will provide customer service and expertise to patients or providers regarding specialty pharmacy enrollment, prescription processing, benefits inquiries, prescription status inquiries, and any other question as it pertains to their account. This includes communicating with the clinic staff to obtain the number of patients scheduled for appointments, determining their insurance coverage by accessing the electronic medical record (EMR) greeting the patients and providing verbal and written information about the specialty pharmacy program. The Specialty Pharmacy Liaison Technician will also communicate with the clinic staff for the opportunity to provide more detailed information about the program and provide a Welcome Packet to patients in the clinic treatment room if requested by the patient or provider. The Specialty Pharmacy Liaison Technician works under the direct supervision of the pharmacist.
Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am- 4:30 pm.
Starting Pay: $23 per hour/annually, (Depending on related work experience) + Bonus eligibility

In addition to our main hospital campus, we operate 20 regional healthcare facilities, including medical centers in the communities of Cambridge, Corinth, Granville, Greenwich, Salem, Whitehall, Hudson Falls, and Wilton. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy:The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of recent pharmacy technician experience
- Experience in a retail or hospital setting preferred
- Experience in retail pharmacy/insurance/healthcare background preferred
- NYLicensure/Registration/Certification requirements
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
