The Operations Coordinator works collaboratively and in partnership with the School of Nursing (SON) Operations Team and UC Davis Health support departments to provide exemplary service to the SON community, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to do their best work.
This position reports to the Assistant Director of Operations with the following key areas responsibilities: Administrative Operations and Support (onboarding/offboarding, asset/inventory management); IT Operations and Support (basic IT troubleshooting for SON end users, SOM IT liaison, IT/AV purchasing/deployment support, app/licensing provisioning); Space/Facilities Operations and Support (backup safety and building coordinator, facilities services coordination, workspace setup and configuration); and special projects support.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
- Two or more years of administrative operations experience.
- Two or more years of experience in service-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use sound judgment in responding to requests, issues, and concerns.
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume and variety of tasks.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Solid knowledge of common computer application programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability set up and troubleshoot basic computer equipment and peripherals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous facilities support and space management experience.
- Previous administrative operations experience at University of California.
- Interpersonal and written communication skills to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
