Job Summary

The desired candidate shall execute the administrative and purchasing activities required by the Procurement area of the LATAM region in full alignment of approved processes established by GP.

Main Activities:



  • Management of the registering of the suppliers required by the Operations team of the LATAM region into Oracle system: will review, process and approve new requests and also reactivate the those on-hold ones when required.
  • Will interact with the Global Suppliers Management team in the approvals above.
  • Management of the commodities purchasing process of its region, conducting competitiveness and negotiating their corresponding agreements.
  • When needed, will look for new commodity suppliers in the region that meet specifications previously defined by the Management.
  • Assure the commodity suppliers get their payments timely and accurately. Will be in charge of invoices receiving/getting, validate them and initiate its payment process in coordination with AP team.
  • Work closely with the LATAM Procurement Manager to keep the supplier's database updated.
  • Interacting with the Operations team to provide the services they require related to commodities supplies.


Requirements:



  • Strong knowledge of purchasing of services in the LATAM market, rendered by natural and legal persons.
  • Excellent knowledge of official regulations to hire and pay services suppliers
  • Knowledge of accounting principles.
  • High capacity to face tight deadlines requests with a high energy level with very strong fulfilment to Corporate procedures.
  • Excellent communication; strong planning and organization skills
  • Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of Oracle will be a plus very well rated.
