GP Strategies - Material Management Associate

Job Description and Requirements

Job Title: Material Management Associate

Job Summary: Provide Material Management support by assisting with various Material Management duties related to preparing, ordering, and stocking training materials for manufacturing training classes. Specific tasks will include preparing training materials by cutting and drilling sheet metal to proper size. ordering raw supplies for materials and stocking prepared materials associate with upcoming classes. Other duties that may be assigned are proctoring training classes.

Basic qualifications:

* Ability to lift 30lb. For items over 30lb or awkward size or shape, assistance will be provided.

* Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and eMail.

* Experience working in a complex and changing environment while being both self-sufficient and collaborative with team members.

* Good written and verbal communications that support positive and effective customer experience.

* Possess strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.

* Experience and ability to manage large volume of tasks and maintain high degree of accuracy, quality and timely completion. Ability to prioritize and manage disruptions.

Additional Skills and Experience:

* Experience using a Band Saw

* Experience using a Drill Press

Other Position Info:

* Ability to work on site at Marietta, GA facility.

* Work week and status: Fulltime - Prefer Monday thru Thursday working 4x10 schedule; option for other alternative work week possible.
