DeZURIK, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Director of Environmental Health and Safety to lead our safety initiatives across all operations. The Director of Environmental Health and Safety will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and environmental compliance within our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations specific to manufacturing.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive EHS training programs tailored for manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct hazard analyses and establish safety protocols to protect our workforce.
  • Audit safety programs for compliance with company standards and manufacturing regulations.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.
  • Oversee all locations to ensure adherence to EHS standards and best practices across our manufacturing sites.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing setting, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Professional certification in EHS is a plus.


Skills:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
  • Proficient in creating compliance records and reports.
  • Willingness to travel 25-30% within the US and Canada.
