The Assistant Director of Institutional Reporting (ADIR) produces timely and accurate reports related to state and federal compliance, voluntary external reporting, and internal reporting needs. Additionally, the ADIR develops, documents, and maintains databases, dashboards, procedures and policies to ensure data and reports adhere to both external reporting requirements and the needs of the college. The ADIR works closely with the Data Team to coordinate data compilation and report production and to implement data quality assurance processes.

Major Job Duties:

  • Produce and submit timely and accurate data from multiple sources for mandated federal and state reporting, while ensuring that data meet compliance specifications.

  • Conduct research and analyses and produce reports in support of college operations, assessment, and accreditation. This includes building and maintaining dashboards and reports in the college's report management system and responding to ad hoc data and report requests.

  • Produce and submit timely and accurate data to ranking and other external surveys.

  • Develop, document, and maintain data sources, data extraction procedures, analytical processes, programming tasks, and policies for internal and external reporting.

Salary Range: $65,618 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least four years of experience in higher education and two years of experience working with data.

  • Advanced functions in Excel, written and verbal communication.

  • Familiarity with data quality assurance practices.

  • Experience interpreting manuals for complex reporting requirements.

  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and report building in Workday preferred.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Master's degree
