Salary Grade: T25 Learn more about the "T" salary structure here: https://careers.temple.edu/sites/careers/files/documents/T_Salary_Structure.pdf Job Summary: The SSC Program Coordinator takes primary responsibility for ensuring Student Success Center services are accessible to students, and that information about our services is available and accessible by Temple students, faculty, and staff. To this end, the incumbent develops and oversees outward-facing elements of the SSC's work, including the Office Assistants and the Ambassadors program, as well as the SSC social media accounts, newsletter, and website. The incumbent also explores and develops new avenues for communicating with stakeholders about SSC services, including new forms of social media and collaborative programs with other Temple units. In addition, the Program Coordinator collaborates with the SSC Assistant Directors to identify new academic support needs and develop programs and/or events to address them. These might involve developing new in-center workshops focused on emerging academic skills sets (e.g., working with AI tools) or developing plans for cross-disciplinary academic support programs (e.g., tutoring for scientific writing), or other topics linked to the Program Coordinator's areas of expertise. Finally, the Program Coordinator collaborates with the other full-time administrators in the SSC to support and develop the SSC's student staff members. This person collaborates on SSC-wide professional development programs, and training programs, serves as a point person for onboarding undergraduate student workers, for maintaining staff rosters and contact information, and for ensuring that student workers have access to supplies and equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of relevant experience. Experience working in a university-level tutoring center, writing center, or departmental tutoring program. Prior experience with supervision or leadership. Experience designing and leading professional development programs. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities:
