The Role: Orrick has an exciting opening for a Proposal Specialist who is ready to be challenged and build a career within an AmLaw Top 100 law firm. This hybrid position will be in the based in any of Orrick's U.S. offices (Austin; Boston; Houston; Los Angeles; New York; Menlo Park; Orange County, Portland, Sacramento; San Francisco; Santa Monica, Seattle, Washington DC or Wheeling, WV) and consideration given for 100% remote US locations. What will I do? In this role, you will provide direct support to our Marketing Team and lawyers in the execution of client-focused opportunity responses for our Litigation, Intellectual Property and Regulatory (SAGE) practices. You will also have the chance to support client opportunities across our Tech & Innovation, Energy & Infrastructure and Finance practices on occasion. With each new opportunity, you could be crafting a winning pitch focused on anything from our capabilities to defend clients in bet-the-company litigation to conducting high-profile investigations to providing market-leading counsel in cybersecurity & data privacy and regulatory compliance. In collaboration with our Litigation, IP and SAGE business development support teams, you will create and manage strategic firm and practice content. As a member of the Pitch Team, a key unit within our global Business Development team, and at the direction of Pitch Team sector manager, you will play a dynamic role in supporting the firm's, department's and team's objectives and strategies. * California Major Markets includes San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Monica. All other California locations fall within National range.
