The Tax Analyst is responsible for supporting the Corporate Tax Manager in all areas of Tax.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

  • Analyze numerous taxing situations and provide guidance to Credit / Sales personnel

  • Create and update customer tax information and ship to profiles in CSD ERP System

  • Examine and validate customer provided sales tax exemption certificates

  • Compile requisite data and file business licenses for all branch locations

  • Research tax notices and provide missing information to taxing authorities

  • Train Credit / Collections on new Certcapture features and updates

  • Assist Tax Manager with sales and property tax audit defense

  • Collaborate with Controller and Tax Manager on process improvements

  • Conducts special projects related to tax certificate data, customer data, & 1099's

  • Other Duties as assigned

A must...

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in related discipline.

  • Generally, 2 years of experience in related field.

  • Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive approach to duties, complex problem-solving, excellent decision-making, and top-notch time management.

Environmental Job Requirements...

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • No travel required.
