Job Title: VP, Private Banker

Location: Santa Rosa, California 95401 - 100% onsite

Duration: Full Time / Direct Hire / Perm

Pay: $75,000 - $125,000 Depending on experience 750

Number of Positions: 1

JOB OVERVIEW

The Private Banker is responsible for managing relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing exceptional service, and fostering deep connections.

Responsibilities include:



  • Managing a portfolio of clients with personalized attention and financial solutions.
  • Growing the client base while maintaining strong relationships through strategic communication.
  • Ensuring compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.



Client Relationship Management:



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned private banking clients.
  • Introduce yourself to new clients and ensure they feel welcomed.
  • Address client needs, concerns, and inquiries promptly.



Client Interaction Cadence:



  • Maintain annual contact with all clients in your portfolio.
  • Engage actively with at least 25% of your clients on a quarterly basis to discuss financial needs, performance, and concerns.
  • Provide extra attention to the top 10% of clients, organizing personal touchpoints (lunches, dinners, golf outings) with senior executives as appropriate.



Client Growth & Retention:



  • Identify and nurture opportunities to deepen client relationships, increase balances, and expand services utilized.
  • Proactively monitor and address situations where client balances may drop, implementing strategies to retain business.
  • Generate business results through acquisition of new assets from both existing and new clients.



Reporting & Collaboration:



  • Collaborate closely with the SVP Head of Branch Banking to align with overall bank strategy and meet branch goals.
  • Provide regular updates on client interactions, growth opportunities, and retention efforts.
  • Complete a minimum of 10 hours of CRA volunteer hours per year (compensable time with mileage reimbursement).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.



Qualifications:



  • 6+ years of experience in private banking or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in managing high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients across varying wealth levels.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage a large client portfolio effectively.
  • Experience in hosting client engagement activities (lunches, dinners, golf outings, executive meetings) is a plus
