Foth is currently seeking a team-focused and results-oriented Civil Engineering Intern to provide engineering services on transportation and water/wastewater projects. This is a hands-on learning experience conducting design activities and/or construction observation. This full-time internship will be based out of our Cedar Rapids, IA office for the summer of 2025. Primary Opportunities:
  • Perform routine civil engineering support tasks under the direction of an engineer
  • Assist with transportation design, storm water modeling, CAD drafting, quantity take-offs, plan/permit preparation, report writing and research
  • Perform construction observation for civil municipal and transportation projects
  • Conduct construction measurements and documentation, quantity reporting, plan and specification review, and contractor/client coordination
Required Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
Preferred Qualifications:
  • GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Previous Civil Engineering experience through an internship or co-op
  • Experience utilizing AutoCad
