As a Material Expediter at KARL STORZ, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics operations. Your primary responsibilities will include expediting materials to meet customer demands, managing inventory accuracy through cycle counting, investigating discrepancies, and generating reports to support continuous improvement. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with various departments to uphold our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily communication among Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
  • Allocate critical materials for timely order fulfillment and manage special orders.
  • Conduct warehouse cycle counts and monitor transactions in SAP.
  • Generate and analyze reports, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Champion safety and quality standards within the warehouse.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or production environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and SAP.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift to 40 lbs and navigate warehouse environments, including climbing ladders.
  • Must be punctual and able to work overtime as needed.
