The Automation Integrator will execute on Automation Engineering deliverables by programming and/or installing PLC programs and validating compliance to engineering design. Supports Automation Engineering with design and control systems improvements. Works with Automation Construction and Commissioning Project Managers to commission facilities. Responsible for PLC Programming development and HMI/LOI programming and design work. Assist with oversite of automation electrical design. Troubleshooting/Testing/Debugging of programs and redlining of engineering documentation as applicable for Engineering As-Builts. Manages timely deliverables on projects. Responsibilities:

- Use ofall forms of softwaresuch asPLC Software (Examples) RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, DirectSoft5, ROCLINK 800/DS800;programsforHMIs, Red Lion Crimson, Factory Talk View, and Panelview; programRTUs andsupporttroubleshooting.
- Completeredlinesandrelevantdocumentation to automation engineering (C&Es, P&IDs,1-lines,etc.)to support current AS-BUILTpost commissioning.
- Follow company Management of Change (MOC) process
- Adhere to Oxy program standardization and best practices
- Support operationsandautomation specialists with training on automation control system functions
- Supporttraining ofaspiringautomationintegratorsonorganizationalprocesses,programmingautomation control systems,equipment,anddocumentation.
- Support low VACdevices-includingbut not limited totransformers, breaker boxes, electrical switches, heaters,motorsand analyzers
- Providetroubleshooting and basic repair to 120v AC power supply to automation systems and devices.
- Supporttroubleshootingof480vandless ofACpower availability andnotify electrical team offindings needingservice/repair.
- Supportautomation end devices (switches, transmitters, etc.)- calibrate, troubleshoot, install, and use Hart communicator and multi meters
- Identifyand troubleshoot Ethernet, serial,satelliteand wireless field communications
- Responsible for ensuring alarms are within the guidelines of Oxy standards, accurately represent the process, function as intended and followappropriate changecontrol protocols
- Communicate project activities with Asset Teams
- Assistin evaluation ofnew technologiesprovidingpro and con analogies
- Supportcustomers (operations) as liaison with Automation Engineering toassistin design of projects and a desired operating philosophy
- Active participation in Oxy Process Improvement Teams
- Ability and willingness to travel tosupportunassigned job areas on an as-needed basis.
- Ability and willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays andparticipatein an on-call rotation when needed
- Advanced teamwork and collaboration abilities with internal and external business units exemplifying aresponsible attitude for personal safety and the safety of co-workers, contractors, and the public
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent working experience
- 1+ yearsAutomation Specialist/Techexperience
- 1+ years Automation Integrator/Programming experience
- 1+ years of Oil Field Process Facilities experience
- 4-year technical degree (Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Control Systems or related fieldor equivalent work experience
- Advanced level of understanding of automation and electrical design principles.
- Advanced Knowledge & technical skills working with PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, EFMs, POCs (Allan Bradley,Totalflow, ROCs, Coriolis, etc.) and automation end devices.
- Intermediate knowledge of technical standards and guidelines (API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ISA, etc.)
- Advanced understanding of digital and analog I/O, programming, and troubleshooting
- Proficient knowledge of analog and discrete instrumentation, and various serial and ethernet communications protocols
- Expertise in Electrical / Automation construction codes and practices
- Extensive knowledge of automation equipment specifications and application
- Advanced Time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
- Advanced Communication Skills including written, oral, and remote meeting skills
- Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Windows Operating Systems
