Parts Runner (non-CDL) & Shop Administrator Job Summary: The ideal candidate will bring prior experience driving company vehicles and making local deliveries. Additionally, candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working independently or as part of a team. Individual must be reliable, flexible, organized, detail-oriented and a positive team player. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Qualifications: HS diploma or GED Able to read and write legibly Minimum 1 year of experience making local deliveries in Houston, TX and the surrounding areas Confident, customer focused, and professional Basic mathematical skills, including a strong eye for detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Available to work the required shift hours/days, including Monday to Friday and Saturdays Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work, and a valid State issued driver's license Must pass a pre-employment screening including an MVR check, background check and have a clean driving record Desired Qualifications: 1 year of experience in local deliveries. Experience doing general laborer work. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. May vary from site to site and in some cases be greater or lesser than indicated here. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to; fumes or airborne particles; The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
