APPLY About the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences School of Integrative of Plant Science (SIPS) The CALS School of Integrative of Plant Science (SIPS) is composed of five sections: Horticulture, Plant Biology, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology, and Soil and Crop Sciences. Combined there are 100+ faculty, ~200 undergraduate majors, 200+ graduate students in six Fields, and 600+ other employees located in Ithaca, Geneva, and other satellite locations across the New York State. The School offers two multi-disciplinary undergraduate majors: one in the Plant Sciences and the second in Agricultural Sciences. School faculty also contribute to the Biological Sciences, Biology and Society, Global Development, and Viticulture & Enology majors. The Opportunity We seek a SIPS Graduate Field Coordinator to:
Success Factors
Hours and Location The Graduate Field Coordinator is a full-time, benefits-eligible position based at the Ithaca campus in the Academic Surge Facility A. To ensure mutual success, the initial schedule requires working on campus Monday through Friday for the first 30 days. For the next 30 days, the schedule transitions to 4 days on campus and 1 day remote per week. By 60-90 days, with supervisory approval, the position moves to a hybrid model of 3 days on campus and 2 days remote, with Wednesdays designated as an on-campus day for effective collaboration with your colleagues and students.
