POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Production Supervisor II is responsible for providing tactical and strategic improvements to the assigned area, while providing effective work direction, guidance, and interactive assistance to the operations staff, to consistently achieve Plant performance metrics.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $80,000 to $110,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO



  • Responsible for ensuring daily efficient, accurate and timely operations for the assigned functional area(s)
  • Develop, coach, mentor and hold employees accountable for the fulfillment of key departmental metrics
  • Responsible for active front line interactions with hourly non-exempt employees to ensure daily goals are met or exceeded, and responsible for developing, implementing and tracking tactical and strategic improvements to performance in the areas of Safety, People Development, Quality, Delivery and Efficiency
  • Learn and train associates in the correct usage of SAP for the assigned function
  • This position assists the business to create a culture that embraces high performance, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement



WHAT WE REQUIRE



  • 3+ years of direct leadership experience in manufacturing or comparable operation
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Communication in English - Business Fluency



WHAT WE PREFER



  • Experience leading dynamic teams in a make-to-order environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Tools (Excel and Word)
  • Experience with Advanced Manufacturing, and familiarity with Kata and Kaizen initiatives
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or American Sign language highly desired
