Position Title: Director of Marketing Analytics and Member Insights

Position Summary:

The Director of Analytics and Member Insights is a strategic leader responsible for harnessing the power of data and research to guide business decisions. This role involves deep expertise in analytics, a strong grasp of numbers, and the ability to extract actionable insights that drive business success. The Director will lead initiatives across multiple research domains, anticipate market trends, and identify key red flags, ensuring the organization remains ahead of potential challenges. This role requires a strong business acumen and the ability to influence strategy through data-driven insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Data Analysis & Reporting:

Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive analytics strategy, providing clear, actionable insights that align with the company's goals.

Oversee the analysis of large data sets, turning numbers into key learnings, recommendations, and business actions.

Develop executive-level reporting dashboards and presentations to communicate performance metrics, trends, and risks.

Research Leadership:

Design and oversee research initiatives in key areas such as member insights, user experience (UX), market research, creative testing, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys.

Ensure that research is designed to generate valid, actionable data that supports decision-making across marketing, product, and member experience functions.

Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define research needs, scope, and objectives.

Member Insights & Experience:

Drive the strategy for collecting and interpreting member insights, focusing on member satisfaction, preferences, and pain points through tools like NPS surveys and direct feedback.

Utilize both quantitative and qualitative research to refine member experience and inform product development.

Trend Anticipation & Risk Management:

Monitor emerging industry trends, market shifts, and consumer behaviors to forecast potential opportunities and challenges for the business.

Market Segmentation & Growth Opportunity Planning:

Lead market segmentation initiatives to optimize targeting strategies for different member groups, maximizing marketing and product effectiveness.

Conduct detailed market opportunity analysis to identify areas of growth, expansion, or competitive advantage for the organization.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership:

Partner with senior leadership, product, marketing, and member experience teams to ensure insights are effectively integrated into overall business strategy.

Act as a key advisor to executives, providing data-backed recommendations that influence the direction of the company.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics and insights team, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Licensure, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Marketing, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

Licensure:

Experience:

  • Ten or more years of progressive experience in Marketing Analytics and insights work is required,
  • Five years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in financial services is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic insights.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, fostering a culture of innovation, curiosity, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and influence senior leadership.
  • Deep understanding of market segmentation, member research, UX, and market trends.

  • Our company offers a dynamic hybrid work arrangement, which requires three days on-site work. Our retail roles are required to be onsite at the branch locations.
