GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Performs a variety of duties to provide administrative support and coordination of assigned area/program. Intake and referral coordinator duties: On Track * Answers calls within a reasonable period of time. * Manage incoming referrals for On Track
Consultation Services * Manage Referrals and communications in the Consultation Service email. * Reply to messages in a timely manner. * Track referrals, contracts, and forms for the program. * Schedule the Consultation Appointments in Epic * Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of current processes. Administrative Duties * Checking in patients for their appointments * Distributing mail and faxes to providers * Ordering supplies and business cards as needed. * Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of departmental activities. * Implements and monitors projects in collaboration with clinic manager and director * Performs special projects as directed * Contributes to effective interpersonal and community relations to promote the quality of patient care and to promote a positive image of McLean Hospital. * Contributes to the productivity and cost effectiveness of the department and hospital. * Collaborates, as requested, with other departments of the hospital to meet identified needs. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years professional experience preferred. Epic or other EMR experience preferred. Skills: - Exceptional Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 - Ability to quickly learn and apply new technology. - Takes initiative, multi-task, and follow through to completion with attention to detail. - Must be self-directed and committed to excellence and continuous improvement of processes. - Ability to prioritize multiple requests and deadlines while maintaining flexibility and dedication to task. - A high degree of comfort working with an outpatient psychiatric population normally acquired through the equivalent of 3 years' experience in a mental health or human services setting.
