Excellent communication is essential for this role. The Architect will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions that drive our company's success and impact society positively. Responsibilities * Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using Palantir Python and PySpark. * Oversee the development and deployment of scalable data architectures. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. * Ensure data solutions are aligned with business objectives and industry best practices. * Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures and processes. * Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality and efficient code. * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data solutions. * Optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability. * Implement data security and privacy measures in compliance with regulations. * Monitor and maintain the health of data systems and infrastructure. * Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data technologies. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices. Qualifications * Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture and engineering. * Demonstrate proficiency in Palantir Python and PySpark. * Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Show excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken. * Have a solid understanding of data security and privacy regulations. * Display the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. * Showcase experience in developing and maintaining scalable data architectures. * Be adept at troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. * Have a track record of optimizing data processing workflows. * Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members. * Exhibit a proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends. * Show experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams. * Possess strong documentation and technical writing skills. Certifications Required Certified Palantir Data Engineer Python Certification PySpark Certification Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until December 01, 2024. The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
