Requisition ID req31254 Working Title Program Coordinator- COPH Position Grade 10 Position Summary The University of New Mexico, College of Population Health (COPH) invites applications for a Program Coordinator. The PhD PhD program in Health Equity Sciences which integrates the rich history of public health, with the newer discipline of population health, and the human and social sciences to provide graduates with a rigorous competency-based doctoral degree. The advanced comprehensive training prepares scholars for positions in various settings - such as local, state, federal, and global governmental and non-governmental agencies, public health and social justice organizations, health care provider organizations, and higher learning institutions. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Director, Academic Success in the College of Population Health. This position specifically supports and is the central point of contact for the traditionally taught BSPH and MPH programs. Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: * Experience coordinating and organizing meetings and/or special events. * Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications. * Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. * Experience interacting with students, faculty and/or staff in a team environment. * Advanced writing and editorial skills.
