Retail Graphic Designer

Our client offers a suite of products used daily by billions of consumers, teams and organizations - with over 6 million businesses choosing them to boost productivity. These tools seamlessly connect devices, apps and people, fostering collaboration and transforming ideas into action. We are looking for a cross-functional Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen sense of design and typography, be passionate about creating, and have excellent visual design skills. The role may involve creation of branding, signage and in-store marketing materials, presentations, printed collateral, infographics, mock-ups, and illustrations.

This is a hybrid position

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute from concept to final review
  • Work with clients and leads to understand their needs and develop creative solutions
  • Create and implement design systems
  • Be a conceptual forward thinker who can clearly articulate and visualize ideas
  • Efficiently adapt to and address multiple sources of feedback or changes in direction
  • Be detail-oriented and proactive in seeking out and correcting any errors in your work
  • Add interesting storytelling into the design and art direction of decks
  • Pull compelling imagery / references and excel at comping
  • Show proficience and speed in using Photoshop for proof of concept
  • Maintain brand guidelines and brand consistency
  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner, professional in demeanor and attitude, and comfortable with client-facing tasks
  • Examine printed proofs to ensure they match the original design and meet quality standards, identifying errors, and providing feedback to the production team on design elements, consistency, printing quality, and impact

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a graphic design role
  • Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates design thinking, effective typography, art direction, and fresh concepts
  • Experience in both agency/design shop and brand side
  • Experience with retail design is a plus
  • Excellent understanding of design principles and theory
  • Fluency with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.) and comfortable with designing in Google Slides
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and deal with multiple rounds of edits, scrapping things and starting over
  • Proactive in pitching new ideas, as well as communicating and acquiring information needed to complete projects
  • Accountable and helpful to clients, leads and cross functional team members, maintaining a supportive and positive attitude
  • Basic motion skills for presentation decks as proof of concepts
  • Basic understanding of digital/social media
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to flexibly thrive in ambiguity and operate in a fast-paced, deadline driven, rapidly changing work environment

For Mountain View, CA applicants: The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
