As a Principal Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) at CONMED, you will be responsible for providing leadership for initiatives that support talent management, performance management, new leader coaching, organizational design, change management and employee relations. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development.
- Participate and lead projects that impact the Operations division, Lithia Springs Distribution Center, along with other company-wide HR teams.
- Bring strong interviewing and talent identification skills.
- Consult with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. This includes employee engagement and turnover management.
- Responsible for executing key tactical HR activities for the business including engagement planning, HR administrative items, talent review implementation and tracking.
- Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change).
- Help drive HR focused campaigns and engagement activities.
- Present strong analytical skills and proficiencies, organizing and using data to streamline delivery of HR products.
- May play a role in administering talent management and succession planning activity within client organization.
- Conduct effective investigations.
- Effectively communicate with and influence employees at all levels.
- Coach managers on performance management situations.
- Assist management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives.
- Take on ad hoc administrative duties and tasks based onmangerandbusiness needs.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+years of related HR experience OR professional experience in an operations environment
- Strong coaching, influencing, presentation and process development skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel 20% - 40%
