The college is governed by the University of Arkansas System Board of Trustees and a seven-member Board of Visitors and derives its support largely from student tuition and fees and legislative appropriations. Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Information Technology Services Coordinator will provide second-tier support to end-users for applications and hardware at the South location. Identify incidents requiring third-tier support and document necessary information before submitting incidents to third-tier support. Interact with network services, systems administrators, server support, and applications development to restore services and identify and correct core problems. This position will also supervise the Computer Support Technician at the South location.* Provides advanced end-user support of applications. (Teams, Zoom, Microsoft applications, Workday, Examsoft, etc) * Provides support for IT equipment and peripherals on site. * Install, configure, upgrade, or replace IT equipment. * Performs necessary IT tasks to submit hardware to M&R. * Manage Adobe and Zoom user accounts. * Manage checkout process for wireless hot spots at the South location. * Supervisory Duties of Computer Support Technician at South location. * Maintain IT Asset Database for the South location. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: * Professional and friendly customer service skills. * Demonstrate positive working relationships with co-workers, management team, and stakeholders of the college. * Knowledge of current application software packages * Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and rectify software and hardware problems. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of an associate degree in information systems or a related field. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Three years of experience working in the computer field. Preferred Qualification: Five years of experience working in the computer field. Some Knowledge of Networking is a plus, but not required.
