Job Description:

The Lease Administration Analyst is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients to analyze key components of lease contracts for expediting accurate and timely invoicing to our client base. Audit asset costs and ensure proper application of costs. Provide proactive customer service to internal/external customers while maintaining integrity in a high-volume transaction and fast paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create and utilize Excel templates to review and analyze vehicle costs components for lease, interest, fees, and other client specific costs making cost adjustments in the system, if needed.
  • Review application of costs for vehicles including purchase amount, rebates and other contractual amounts for accuracy and proper classification.
  • Perform analysis based on system reporting and client invoices to determine root cause for billing and/or calculation anomalies.
  • Proactively communicate to Management and Client Account Managers of any known issues impacting timely and accurate client billing.
  • Perform lease modifications per requests including, but not limited to lease term, lease transfer, interest rate, lease commencement dates, etc.
  • Work in collaboration with Client Onboarding department, Account Management, Billing and other areas of the business to properly manage client requests.
  • Ability to communicate in written and spoken formats regarding analysis and inquiry requests in a clear concise manner to internal or external customers' requests.
  • Complete weekly/monthly assigned review items as assigned to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Assist with the monthly Closing cycles.
  • Assist with testing and feedback as needed.
  • Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.
  • Successfully resolves complex customer inquiries using multiple customer support tools, including (but not limited to) Salesforce Service Cloud and email
  • Identifies trends and perform root cause analysis and communicate findings to department leaders.
  • Responds promptly and professionally to escalated customer inquiries via phone or email

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Business Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of prior experience working in the Fleet Leasing or Financial Services industry is a plus
  • 1-2 years basic knowledge of accounting principles preferred.
  • Financial analysis skills and experience with operational processes in a fast-paced client- service based industry.
  • Experience in systems testing but not required.
  • Understanding of lease terminology, calculations, financial terms and principles preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Required, PC and Microsoft Excel skills (including, but not limited to V and Xlookups, Pivot Tables).
  • Ability to work with business systems to include, but not limited to internally developed systems as well as JD Edwards.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
