The Sr Analyst, as part of the Business Development and Strategy group, contributes to the company's strategic direction through deep market analyses, impactful financial modelling, and high-caliber presentations tailored for diverse stakeholder engagement. A finance professional with a robust analytical background and adept at synthesizing complex information, the Sr Analyst is instrumental in propelling the company's growth agenda within the dynamic publishing industry landscape.

What you'll do:



  • Deliver in-depth industry, market, and competitive analyses and insights to inform strategic planning and decision-making processes.

  • Drive due diligence and develop comprehensive business cases and financial modelling for new business opportunities and acquisitions.



  • Expertly design and prepare comprehensive presentations and briefing materials for a variety of audiences, including senior executives, team members, and external partners. Utilize visual and analytical tools to clearly articulate strategy and project updates, tailoring messaging to suit different audiences. Lead stakeholder meetings and discussions, effectively communicating key insights, project updates, and strategic recommendations.



  • Partner with business leads to help drive strategic initiatives, including developing project plans and leading cross functional teams to ensure smooth execution and completion of initiatives.




What you'll bring:



  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the publishing industry
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking abilities; an independent problem-solver who can manage detailed analysis and present findings coherently.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, and experience with multidimensional query-driven reporting systems and financial modelling.



  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions.



  • Exceptional ability to interpret financial data, providing deep insights while being able to summarize complex findings in a concise overview succinctly as needed.



  • Advanced skills in building effective presentations in Powerpoint essential.



  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven record of effective collaboration and communication across different teams, functions, and with global entities.



  • Experience leading successful strategic initiatives with senior-level stakeholders



  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, with a keen focus on problem-solving and prioritizing work effectively.




This role will have an annual salary of $100,000-$130,000
