Software Engineer needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Richardson, TX

*Active TS clearance is required for this role*

Top must-have skills/experience/education:

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a 2 years of experience.
  
• At least 1 year experience developing or supporting complex applications using Java.
  
• Experience with Agile and/or DevSecOps toolsets (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket,Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.).
  

Job Description

Looking for a Software Engineer II to support our teams in Richardson, Texas. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the world around you and contribute to classified programs and technologies you are passionate about. In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java and experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions.

What You Will Do

Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts

related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software

development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture.

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

Demonstrate your critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas

well.

The ability to obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs
