Position Summary |
The Division of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology at the
UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for a clinical fixed-term faculty member to provide clinical care to a diverse population in the General Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinics supported by a robust interprofessional team.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to inpatient care, hospital follow-up, same day clinic, and office-based procedures, continuity clinics, supervision of residents and medical students, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
M.D. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Completed a residency program in an accredited program, be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. Prior experience in
PCMH type multi-disciplinary practice, experience teaching and quality improvement are pluses. |
