The University of Virginia's Division of Student Affairs works for and alongside students to create the distinctive student experience for which UVA is known. The division's mission is to promote the intellectual, cultural, personal, and social development of students while enhancing their physical and psychological well-being. The University of Virginia's Department of Student Health & Wellness (SHW) is seeking an energetic Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. This multi-faceted position reports to the Assistant Manager, Facilities, and collaborates with other team members in the accurate maintenance of our robust medical and general Supply Room which serves multiple sections under the SHW umbrella including Medical Services. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining detailed inventory records, ordering medical supplies, medications, and office supplies, and ensuring the smooth operation of the supply room within SHW. Additional areas of focus include work alongside the Assistant Manager on various projects including supply room operations, handling customer issues, maintaining compliance records, overseeing student workers, and supporting facility initiatives and events. About the Position: This is a nonexempt level, benefited position and 40 hours per week. The anticipated hiring range for this overtime-eligible position is $22.00-$25.00 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.
