Join Gallo's Bottling Department as a Senior Team Leader U, where you will play a pivotal role in fostering individual and team development, ensuring quality performance, managing cost parameters, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. In this dynamic position, you will work cross-functionally with various departments to develop and execute key operational initiatives, leading problem-solving efforts within your area of responsibility.

As a Senior Team Leader U, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a diverse team to include salaried and union employees with varying levels of experience and education. Your expertise in operations, manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain processes will be instrumental in driving initiative implementation and enhancing team performance. You will also direct multiple teams across departments and shifts, providing mentorship and coaching to team members and peers while effectively influencing cross-functional departments.

Your role will involve identifying areas of opportunity, planning and executing projects as a subject matter expert, and facilitating strong cross-functional collaboration. You will cascade goals that support the department's vision and align with the Operations Manager and Human Resources to execute performance management actions.

As a change champion, you will deliver and implement effective change management strategies, visibly leading changes in team member behavior and coaching junior Team Leaders. Your deep technical expertise will be crucial in advising stakeholders, driving problem-solving, and promoting continuous improvement across departments. You will also ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and environmental considerations.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of production, operations or logistics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; ORBachelor's degree plus 5 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; ORHigh School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of production, operations or logistics experience.
  • 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience; demonstrates team building, leadership and mentoring skills.
  • 2 years of technical production/operations or technical maintenance experience.
  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Experience leading high performance work teams and providing motivation to achieve plan goals.
  • Experience using a production work management system.
  • Environmental, health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience managing Quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Required to work shifts as scheduled.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $98,000 - $147,000 / year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
