JOB PURPOSE: The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors in Killeen is looking for a highly motivated licensed Clinician who is eager to serve military-connected children, adults, and families. The Cohen Clinic offers a variety of services to Post-9/11 Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard, and their family members. Endeavors focuses on employee health and wellness, offering flexibility, and competitive pay with benefits. Cohen Clinic Clinicians work closely with a multidisciplinary team, offering telehealth and in-person therapy services, to clients with a focus on offering time-limited and measurement based-care. The Play Therapy and Family Therapy rooms at the Cohen Clinic offer the perfect treatment environment for Clinicians to work with youth and family clients. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion and experience in working with children, adolescents, couples, and families, as well as individual adults. The Cohen Clinic has a commitment to training, consultation, and proficiency in treatment, offering training in evidence-based practice, including CBT, CPT, EFT, CBT-I, and PE. Qualifications
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Master's degree in social work, clinical mental health counseling, or in marriage and family therapy is required. Independent licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is preferred. Associate licensure may be considered with relevant experience. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of experience is preferred. Experience working with adults, children, couples, and families is required; Knowledge in DSM-V diagnoses is required; Experience in diagnosing and treatment planning is required; Certification or documented proficiency in one or more of the following EBP's: CBT, PE, or CPT is preferred. Candidate must be willing to receive training in preferred EBPs. Experience working with military populations and/or Veterans is strongly preferred; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion. LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record. VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
