General Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily processing of first class and standard mail.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Operates the MLOCR.
• Responsible for passing daily mail inspections
• Oversees the quality control process for first class presort mail.
• Deliver mail to the USPS at end of day.
• Coordinates with Standard Mail Supervisors the scheduling of special mailings on the MLOCR.
• Provides support/back-up to postage meter operators.
• Works with others as part of the mail processing team as required.
• Communicates quality/service issues to Production Manager.
• Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Complies with all standards to assure the health and safety of all staff and clients we serve.
• Report to work as scheduled.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of mail preparation
• Ability to drive van, box truck, and forklift (training provided)
• Technical knowledge of automated mail processing equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Leadership experience

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Valid Driver's License
