Evanston, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: Office of Human Resources The Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting the greater function of the Payroll team by managing the garnishment and overpayment processes. The Specialist participates in the weekly payroll cycle by assisting with review and resolution of errors related to timekeeping and pay processing. This position collaborates directly with the Payroll Tax team by providing support for certain functions that bridge both teams, particularly during the heavy tax seasons. The Payroll Specialist is the point person for escalated employee issues or complaints, helping to ensure a timely response by the appropriate team member. Principal Accountabilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Target hiring range for this position will be between $61,000 - $64,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
