The position will have the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world situations on projects involving site characterization; dam inspection and rehabilitation; landfill design and construction; earth retaining structures; deep and soft/weak foundations; forensic investigations and litigation support; geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring; numerical analysis of stability and deformation; and geohazard / earthquake characterization / mitigation, while learning the business skills needed for a successful consulting career.
