Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Gundersen Boscobel is seeking an Exercise Physiologist or Registered Nurse! We serve patients in three primary care clinics, a 25-bed critical-access hospital, and in anUrgent Care and Emergency Department. What you will do:
The Exercise Physiologist focuses primarily on implementing and supervising the physical exercise programs for diseased and healthy populations. Major Responsibilities:
Education and Learning: REQUIRED Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology or Cardiac Rehabilitation or Human Performance or a related field DESIRED Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or Cardiac Rehabilitation or Human Performance or a related field Work Experience: REQUIRED 1 year successful completion of clinical internship. DESIRED 1 year prior work experience in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. License and Certifications: REQUIRED Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification; Heart Saver, Rescue and Military training network CPR; or the American Red Cross CPR certification (CPR) except Citizen and Animal classes DESIRED Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (tracked in elearning) American College of Sports Medicine Certified (ACSM)within one year of hire. Age Specific Population Served: Adult (18 - 64 years) Geriatric (65 years & older) OSHA Category: Category I - All Employees in this job title have a reasonably anticipated risk of occupational exposure to blood and/or other potentially infectious materials. Environmental Conditions: Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work). Exposed to infectious diseases.
