We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Designer to join our growing team, if you are an individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional work and are looking to expand your structural design craft under the supervisions of industry leading professionals! The ideal candidate will have significant experience in structural design using Autodesk, Revit, and BIM, along with experience mentoring of newer design staff. In this role the candidate will work directly with senior structural engineers and designers to support our multidisciplinary engineering and project management teams through design and layout of projects for facilities primarily serving the water and wastewater industries. In this role, your responsibilities will include drafting and design support for the structural discipline from conceptual through detailed design development, development of contract drawings using 2D and 3D design approaches, BIM design, and bid package preparation. Project design work will include layout of structural elements, development of structural details and preparation of completed structural drawings for environmental facilities. You will be responsible for development and adherence of BC drafting and design standards, as well as those imposed by our clients. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for building things, meeting new people, mentoring staff, and collaborating with seasoned professionals who perform structural work for industrial and municipal projects, and other environmental work.
