Compensation Range:$92,700-$120,000

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

Drive company revenue and business growth by expanding the Bren-Tronics portfolio; extending the current portfolio as well as growing new product line opportunities in energy and system solutions and others as identified. Maintain current client relationship and identifying areas for potential clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Bren-Tronics sales and business development team to bring new, near term as well as future business opportunities for off-the-shelf as well as customer specific solutions across Military users, program offices and original equipment manufacturers (OEM's).
  • Collaborate with the customer to define their requirements and in turn, with sales and engineering/program management teams to identify a strong requirement that can be delivered profitably while meeting the customers' expectations.
  • Develop internal and external solution collateral to aid both customers and other sales team members to concisely capture general solution requirements that can then be tailored, if needed, for customer bespoke needs.
  • Travel (continental US) is expected both individually as well as part of the sales/business development team to customers as well as customer facing venues and shows throughout the year (estimate 50-75% travel).
  • Pursue new and existing opportunities in core battery and charger platforms as well as targeted growth areas in larger capacity batteries and systems for both Military and industrial/commercial use.
  • Support ideation and execution for both internal team members as well as external customers by bringing guidance to best fit the needs of the customer for solutions, sales system integration white papers, customer sales support, and trade show support.
  • Work in concert with the management team to support conferences, exhibitions, exercises, and customer engagements.
  • Advise the Director of Sales and Business Development and the Executive Management team on military/DoD practices and procedures to include but not limited to acquisitions and government contracting.
Qualifications

Experience Required: 10+ years sales and marketing experience, experience in the energy sector preferred. Military experience and DOD base access highly preferred.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field

General Job Requirements
  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
