The listed pay range represents the company's good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base rate of pay for this position at the time of this posting. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on their work location, qualifications, relevant experience, operational needs, demonstrated performance over time, and internal pay alignment. Aloha Petroleum is a subsidiary of Sunoco, L.P., the nation's largest fuel distribution company! Summary: The Human Resources Manager supports general management on employee relations and recruiting matters. Support includes employee relations matters as well as administration of personnel changes and a strong working knowledge of employment practices and policies within the company to address employee/manager inquiries. This is an ON-SITE only opportunity based in Honolulu. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Required Skills: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (e.g. Business Administration or Psychology) and 8+ years of Human Resources. * OR the equivalent in either experience or a combination of education and experience. * Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations matters and investigations. * Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws such as FMLA, FLSA, Title VII, etc. * Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail. * Excellent work ethic, organizational and time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Strong ability to partner and collaborate with Human Resources functional experts to develop solutions to Human Resources issues.
