Position Overview

The Cologuard Technical Monitoring and Response Associate Director is a key leadership role responsible for leveraging a deep knowledge of IT systems, including Epic, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of applications across multiple systems. This role will be responsible for identifying, escalating, and resolving complex issues across myriad systems and changes. The Associate Director will also mentor and educate both technical and business resources.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support/maintenance of in-use and future technologies that are critical to ensuring order to cash operations.
  • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of applications across multiple systems and identify, escalate, and resolve complex issues across myriad systems and changes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure systems deliver intended value and are compliant; recommend best practices that optimize workflow efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide insights and solutions tailored to the specific requirements of Epic systems users.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in complex pre-billing and billing workflows.
  • Translate technical builds and business rules into comprehensible formats for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Liaise between IT and business departments to ensure clarity and efficiency.
  • Provide research and high-level strategy for technology advancements and capabilities.
  • Drive decisions on scaling and transitioning multi-product pipelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technologies.
  • Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Develop and maintain trusting and effective partnerships with internal stakeholders in Customer and Digital Experience, Market Access, Revenue Cycle, IT, Marketing, Commercial, and Health Systems / HIT.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to adapt to a quickly changing work environment with rapidly changing needs and requests.
  • Ability to make decisions with limited information and operate with autonomy.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and success with cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 70% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location; may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of IT experience to include application configuration management.
  • 3+ years of experience with Epic systems.
  • Experience in providing strategic reference architecture for scaling and transitioning multi-product pipelines.
  • Demonstrated success or ability to improve complex pre-billing and billing workflows.
  • Strong understanding of business practices and specific knowledge of order to cash workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to audit and resolve complex system issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and educate both technical and business resources.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, business administration, healthcare administration or field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • Knowledge of cancer diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, or preventive health markets.
  • Experience in the healthcare or biotechnology industry.

Salary Range:

$152,000.00 - $242,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
