The Vice President of Corporate Development will provide leadership, vision, transformation, strategy initiatives for Mainline Information Systems. This position will be responsible for developing an M&A pipeline, running point during a deal process, integrating acquired companies, and aligning the organization to effectively meet its strategic goals.

The Position:

Supports all activities related to enterprise and business strategic investments, partnerships, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A):



  • Develop and manage the acquisition pipeline
  • Work with investment bankers and other contacts to source leads
  • Organic lead sourcing
  • Review prospect information including teasers, CIMs, and websites to assess appropriate fit
  • Manage deal process
  • Manage communication between Mainline and prospect representatives
  • Draft questions and diligence requirements
  • Work with Mainline & HIG on development of IOIs and LOIs
  • Manage post-acquisition integration process including
  • Financial integration
  • Legal / contract review and assignment
  • Organizational integration
  • Collaboration and education



Other Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage large cross-functional projects related to key strategic issues/priorities at the enterprise level.
  • Monitor market needs, trends, innovations and competitors' key developments to extract insights and provide early warning for potential threats and opportunities.
  • Lead strategic growth planning including assessing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, analyzing competitive landscape, and translating strategy into operational execution.
  • Evaluate operational reports, financial metrics, and budgets to track the Company's progress in achieving its strategic and financial objectives.



Education and/or Experience:



  • BS/BA degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Value Added Reseller marketplace and partner channel programs.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with automated accounts payable systems.
  • Familiarity with purchase order processing and inventory management.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and implement efficiency gains.



Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:



  • Physical environmental factors of this position include those found in typical business office environment or home office environment.
  • Requires use of general office equipment and personal computer equipment.
  • Ability to travel. Various means of travel may be required, including auto and air travel. This position requires travel: Frequently
